Naomi is a fashion, lifestyle, and mommy blogger born in Berkeley, California and raised in Oakland. Before coming into the limelight, Naomi served as a Community & Family liaison for over nine years and worked as a legal secretary for a Children’s Law Firm. Her career in activism started at the age of fourteen when she not only discovered her “Blackness”, but also learned of Angela Davis and the Black Panthers. Being that she was one of few African Americans in school, these discoveries gave her a sense of worth, pride and being comfortable in her own skin.
After graduating from high school, Naomi went on to study acting and attended schools in Berkeley, Los Angeles, and New York. Throughout that journey, she began a career in modeling and developed a love for traveling abroad. A self-proclaimed foodie, Naomi enjoys the sounds of sizzling and pots clinging as she prepares delicious eats for family and friends!
As serving the community is near and dear to her heart, Naomi is dedicated to mentoring young girls and exposing them to the abundance of possibilities that life has to offer. She is currently working to establish a nonprofit for that purpose. In the meantime, Naomi continues to uplift, inform, and inspire others through her podcast entitled, “What Would Naomi Do?” – as she prepares to publish her first book.
